Organizers wanted! June 8, 2009

We are looking to expand our core group of RISE organizers by creating subcommittees in the near future. People can help organize either in person or virtually.

We need help with the following areas:

* Budget, finances, and fundraising
* Speaker logistics: scheduling availability, set-up and equipment needs.
* Advertising and participant outreach: creating fliers, sending email announcements, advertising during school of SW orientations.
* Administration, writing, editing: updating the website and FB page, writing promotional material, writing workshop blurbs, drafting emails, etc.
* Sponsor and partnership development (to both agencies and universities)
* Logistical planning for the day of: volunteer coordination, supplies/materials, ordering food, planning the space set-up.
